A non-profit charitable arm that focuses on providing scholarships to college-ready students, youth development programs, training, and development. BSL Educational Foundation encompasses the implementation of Go-to-High School, Go-to-College, Project Alpha, The MLK Young People’s Oratorical Contest, and the Bro. Frank T. Simpson Scholarship, the Bro. Edward E. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship, and the professional and personal development thrusts of Alpha University.

Throughout the Greater Hartford area, more than 50 business leaders, community advocates, school districts, parents, teens and individuals who want to give back and support our youth volunteer at a neighborhood school or by participating in our programming. That’s because in neighborhoods throughout the Greater Hartford area, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver positive personal and social change.
